Mom. Wife. Mechanical Engineer. Snack bitch. Just a lady with 2 boys attempting to survive through toddlerisms and work. May the odds be ever in your favor.
You can spend 10 years with someone who is unwilling to learn how to make a cup of coffee, and later find someone who surprises you with coffee in bed.
Getting divorced is a shitty process.
Knowing that you are the topic of conversation in both families for a bit is a weird awareness.
Props to those who ask for clarity instead of just gossiping.
@Scared1TimeMom My 3 still sleeps this way ๐คฃ
If her sleep patterns haven't changed and she's not pulling at her ears, randomly snotty/draining, or feverish, I wouldn't give it a 2nd thought. Just a baby doing baby things.
When 3 chose to wear his Children of Mayhem shirt this morning, I did not anticipate he would use the hand washing sink in his classroom as a urinal.
Well played, sir. Well played.
@Scared1TimeMom It's so gross and slimy! The clothes should be fine. Just use your best judgment on whether they need another cycle or not. There wasn't anything concerning in my filter when I did it, but it's an easy check to avoid burning up the pump! Good luck!
@Scared1TimeMom Rinse everything that was in there in the bathtub really well. Run an empty cycle, wipe it down again. Rewash. I've done this. It's not nearly as terrifying as the initial reaction. Clean/drain the filter on your washer if you can.
My parents raised a strong, independent woman with no fear of trying something new and high self-worth.
Now, they struggle with my unorthodox ways and lack of fear to take on anyone or anything.
๐คทโโ๏ธ I'm cool with being my weird self, though.
It took me 33 years of life to realize that some grown ass adults call in sick on 4/20 to spend the entire day high, and no one ever really questions it. I thought that was just a college kid thing. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
Having to call the realtor back when she checks in because we did not reconcile and are not ready to sell the house yet. Yay for the beginning of many awkward conversations!
@twinstantfamily Yep, absolutely the meanest.
Okay, so terrifying fact about geese... If they get ahold of a little kid, they can literally shake the kid to death. Plus, their bites hurt like a mofo. Not to add that to the anxiety list or anything, but it was news to me.
@alwaysanaunt And then there's this... if you're using the latch system, you may be able to go longer using the seatbelt instead.

@alwaysanaunt If you're worried, check the rear facing weight limit on your carseat first. Extended rear facing within the weight limits is safe. Forward facing within the weight range at 2+ is safe. Correct installation, belt position, and what YOU are comfortable with is key.
