Class of 2022 chose cervical cancer awareness campaign as their project for MOMIC 2018.
MOMIC (Model Mimicking) is an annual charity event organized by the 2nd yr students of the UGSMD
There were six (6) positives. Three (3) of them were treated on-site by thermal coagulation. One will be followed up in six months, and two have been referred for treatment in the hospital.

The screening was performed at the Divine Grace Clinic and Maternity Home by staff of the Cervical Cancer Prevention and Training Centre in Battor & 4 graduates from the centre.
Ninety-one (91) women were screened 'for free' (paid for by money raised by the medical students).
