meanwhile in the nhl, accusations afford men special opportunities that they couldn't earn through merit or talent and the men who are equally/better qualified have those opportunities taken from them for not being known rapists
this is just a continuation of a slap in the face to women and sexual assault survivors in the hockey community.. allowing a sexual predator to get paid and be on a roster is appalling. it’s not an isolated incident either. the NHL proudly promoted a rapist in carter hart acting as if he was making a comeback in the stanley cup. hockey culture in general needs serious fixing
