Remember.. the $NUAI thesis doesn’t necessarily require Anthropic to be wildly profitable.
It requires AI compute demand to remain structurally enormous.
if anthropic IPOs at ~$2T while simultaneously disclosing hundreds of billions in future compute/infrastructure commitments, it could make the market more aware of just how much physical infrastructure companies like $NUAI need to build
Got my eyes set on Oct 1!
Google is about to put TPUs in orbit on a $PL built satellite.
If space based compute becomes a real part of the AI infrastructure stack, $PL could be sitting much closer to that opportunity than the market realizes.
Time to dig deeper…
Next thesis to study: $PL
AI is pushing compute everywhere. The next frontier may be space.
Planet already has the satellites, the data, and the infrastructure.
The question is whether they can evolve from an Earth imaging company into part of the space compute stack.
Can’t wait for investors to start valuing $NUAI using contracted data center economics, rather than mostly assigning value to the underlying development story
If $NUAI secures a strong long term tenant, the question becomes what economics $NUAI can capture from that lease.. not whether 207 MW × someone else’s AI revenue/MW applies
Suncatcher is evidence that Google is exploring one potential solution.
The next thing I’m looking for is evidence that $PL becomes part of the scalable solution. Need them to come through on October 1.
$PL says Suncatcher is synergistic with its Owl technology roadmap and uses the same satellite bus. $PL is also contracted to deploy the prototype satellites.
That’s evidence that:
$PL spacecraft architecture is compatible with Google’s orbital compute experiment.
Google is experimenting with an entirely new type of AI infrastructure, and $PL spacecraft architecture is part of the physical foundation they’re testing
Hoping for good news on Oct. 1.
$NUAI is no longer a bet that the company can find power and build a data center site. Those risks have been reduced for Phase 1. The central remaining thesis is that $NUAI can convert its 200–207 MW of contracted power into a binding long term tenant lease
The probability that $NUAI is having serious conversations with a very large AI infrastructure customer is now better supported by primary source evidence than it was before this filing
PPA negotiations are another box being checked in the development process. If they successfully execute it, the probability of the overall thesis increases

Great investors don’t stop at asking whether news is positive or negative. They ask whether the financial impact is large enough to matter.
Once you start asking that question, you’ll realize that many headlines move stock prices far more than they move the underling business.
Your conviction should rise or fall because the evidence changes, not because the color on your screen is red or green for the day.
That may be one of the hardest, but most valuable habits an investor can develop.
