Dear @elonmusk, The Iranian regime has enforced a total digital blackout, cutting off millions from the outside world. This is not just censorship; it's a systematic information siege. 📢 People in IRAN need more than just satellite coverage; they need accessible connectivity. To break this blackout, we urge @SpaceX to take these 3 critical steps: 1️⃣ Direct-to-Cell Activation: Prioritize enabling "Direct-to-Cell" for Iran. This allows ordinary smartphones to connect directly to satellites, bypassing the need for expensive and high-risk Starlink dishes. 2️⃣ Zero-Cost Subscription: Since Iranians are cut off from global banking, please waive the monthly fees for terminals inside Iran, as you did for Ukraine. 3️⃣ Anti-Jamming Updates: We need Starlink’s engineers to deploy advanced anti-jamming software to counter the regime's intense signal interference during crackdowns.
