🇦🇱 Albania's "Flamingo Revolution" has hit its second week, and it's no longer just about Kushner's resort.

What started as opposition to two €5 billion luxury developments on protected stretches of the Adriatic coast has snowballed into demands for the entire political establishment to step down.

Every evening at 6 p.m., thousands gather in Tirana's main square and march on the PM’s office, carrying flags and homemade banners.

Without leaders, or a party machine, just TikTok and word of mouth.

The name comes from the flamingos nesting near the protected coastline the resorts would carve up.

Protesters say both major parties, in power since the early 1990s, are happy to sell the country to the highest bidder.

PM Edi Rama is refusing to budge, pointing to his 52% election win as proof of his mandate.

Brussels is less convinced, warning Albania its EU path is at risk if it bulldozes through environmental rules.

13 years in power, and the drop that finally overflowed the cup was a beach.
