Brilliant virtual visit to The Deep with @GrenoPrimary Year 3 and Year 4 classes today. Thanks Ben and Seb @thedeephull loads of fantastic facts and great to see all the animals. What a treat!
Hoping to see Perseverance land on Mars shortly. Just heard Maggie Aderin-Pocock talking about it. Love her enthusiasm! Is/was there life on Mars? #MarsPerseverance
Had a very hot afternoon with my Y3/4 bubble making solar ovens from @pstt_whyhow 'Science for One' to melt our chocolate buttons and marshmallows. Great science 'chat' about melting and reflecting and changes of state. What you can achieve with only 8 pupils! #primaryscience
Enjoyed doing some of the 'Light Saver' activities in a socially distanced way with my 'bubble' today. Surprised the sun wasn't bright enough in my classroom for them all to work as well as we'd hoped! #lightsaverchallenge#primaryscience
@StonefaceCreate I just wanted to say how much I love your tributes to the NHS. I was really upset by the comments made by the people down at the garden at Hillsborough corner. I think they're amazing! Thank you!
@MonachSci working scientifically with PGCE students @tykestsa lots of mess making blubber gloves and electric slime among other things! @STEMLearningUK#primaryscience
Some highlights of the day from the Y6s.
They're having a grand time by all accounts: slept well, ate well and are relishing the challenges @PGLTravel#residential
The staff and Y6s have arrived at Boreatton Park in Shropshire @PGLTravel
Beautiful surroundings with just a touch of rain...so far.
They'll try to keep us updated of all their adventures as best they can. #residential
@MonachSci Brilliant weekend! After my super visit to Woolsthorpe Manor on Friday, spent the weekend in Oxford with my brother and family and did the Blenheim Half Marathon this morning #loverunning#fabscience
