@HackneyAbbott Black lives matter so please advocate no mass gatherings which will take Covid 19 into homes of the people who are most vulnerable. Protest, demonstrate call for international solidarity against racism but at this time use other means than mass gatherings please
@MattHancock When will the Health secretary learn the number of tests has always been irrelevant it was testing for all symptomatic that was important and that was significantly delayed costing many lives.
@piersmorgan I have been astounded at the lack of rigorous journalism from the BBC it used to be an independent Organization I watch channel 4 news now we need journalists to hold the government to account & ask questions this is not political bias
@MattHancock 8 weeks too late. Had the government used existing infrastructure such as GPs and local hospital labs it would not have taken so long. Questions need to be asked on this.
@AndyBurnhamGM Great we now have population wide tested but why was it outsourced to a private company and we did not use GPs existing infrastructure. Had we done so we would have had this 8 weeks ago. Questions need to be asked.
@doctor_oxford How can you have a warning system without adequate surveillance! I can’t get most of my patients a test yet. Find, test, isolate, how many times will the gov ignore this very simple public health advice
@AndyBurnhamGM We do not have find, test and contract trace in place yet for all those going back to work so if the R number goes up we won’t know until 7 days later when it’s registered in hospital #Stay at home#
@NafeezAhmed We are not ready to lift the lockdown until all symptomatic patients have easy access to a test, timely result, and contact tracing is in place. It’s not about the number of tests. Find, test, isolate. Please promote this message save lives.
@HackneyAbbott We are not ready to lift the lock down until all symptomatic patients have access to an accessible test, timely result and contact tracing in place. It’s not about the number of tests. Find, test, isolate please promote this message save lives
@drbenwhite We are not ready to lift lock down until all symptomatic patients have easy access to a test & timely result & contact tracing is in place. It’s not about the number of tests. Find, trace, isolate please promote this message to save lives
@andymoz78 We are not ready to lift lock down until anybody symptomatic has access to a test and timely result and we have contact tracing in place. It’s not the number of tests that’s important find every case test contact trace isolate pls all doctors promote this message save lives
@AndyBurnhamGM Can we focus on preventing a second wave insist we are not ready to lift lock down until we have capacity to test anyone symptomatic and contact trace & why are we not using grass root networks ie GPs rather than setting entirely separate covid 111 network ignoring GPs
@DrRosena I as a front line worker feel that the lack of testing has cost lives indeed wrote a Facebook post on 14th March calling for testing. I can see no problem with her tone and am horrified the Minister Of Health uses this not to answer the question. He was the one who was rude.
@HackneyAbbott We can not end the lock down until as a Gp I can get a covid test for all my patients & result within 24 - 48 hours. Not just key workers, over 65s and care home residents.
@doctor_oxford Could we ask the adviser who said you only needed to isolate if symptomatic and not if you were a household contact in March to resign also.
@doctor_oxford I would like to hear the evidence behind PHE downgrading their advice for GPs & other staff & until I do have no faith in their guidance
@doctor_oxford@BorisJohnson And we had advanced warning but did nothing. Except telling people you only needed to self isolate if symptomatic household contacts could go to work! If it was an economic decision we now realise going hard on the virus test & trace as said by WHO saves lives lives & the economy
@MattHancock Explain why you told the general public in early March household contacts of a sick person didn’t need to isolate for a highly infectious disease! You didn’t test in the community and still aren’t now health professionals don’t have adequate PPE. Dr Monaghan
Recommend supermarkets to reserve some online shopping slots each day for self isolation, quarantine and vulnerable groups day 9 our quarantine can’t get bread or milk & running out of some essentials
