I suspect very similar strategies are being used by animal industry to delay animal welfare regulation. Farrowing crates come to mind, it was 2005 when the Gov advisors first raised concerns and now in 2023 delay is still happening.

@skrybnz @SAFEnewzealand The Regulations Review Committee recommended that the Government conduct a review into how secondary legislation (so Codes and Regulations) are made under the Animal Welfare Act.
