Yes, it’s nice that NATO has a Canadian-led brigade in Latvia. But what’s their order if Russian troops cross the border? Will they shoot? We all know the answer. It will take ages to negotiate. There is no clarity. No resolve.

And yet we are still debating a “peace deal” drafted by a business partner of Donald Trump. A real estate transaction disguised as strategy – designed to enrich Trump’s family while selling Ukraine’s future.

How can we seriously discuss forcing Ukraine to dismantle defensive fortifications that are literally protecting Europe?

We're celebrating NATO. But let’s be honest: NATO is not strong right now. NATO barely exists. It’s four letters on paper.

The only reason we are sitting here today, comfortably talking about NATO, is because Ukraine is dying every minute. If Ukraine hadn’t stood its ground, Russian tanks would already be in Poland. You offered President Zelenskyy a ride out — he replied: “I don’t need a ride. I need ammunition.”

Four years Ukraine has been fighting Europe’s war. Russia has been preparing for only one kind of conflict: a war to destroy free Europe. And Ukraine is the only country fighting that war right now.

And yet here we are — still debating whether Ukraine should be included or not. Ukraine is the only nation fulfilling NATO’s purpose. And we owe them everything.”
