Oil opens flat after the Maduro arrest this weekend. Overall, smart money realizes oil isn't flooding the market for years considering the infrastructure that needs to be repaired and built out. A lot of hype this weekend saying a gap below $50. Nope.
Gold ended the day up $54, closing at a new record high above $4,530. But that's just a 1.2% move. The real action was in the rest of the precious-metals complex. Platinum soared 9.5%, silver 10.3% (above $79), and palladium 13.1%. These are historic and highly significant moves.
Charts like this truly help me use logic and data to make decisions vs emotion. At all-time highs there were so few bears, but the tag of the parallel had me on edge. Amazing how quickly the Nasdaq has collapsed...target not far away.

10 year sharp drop to 3.85%...markets starting to sniff the reality of an interest rate drop that happens that quickly.
Remember, markets historically have fallen when the #FederalReserve cuts rates. Not the other way around.
