$nvda I am trying to estimate how many GPU do we need? Let's start from the final consumption, AWS need 3M, azure 3M, googl 2M, the other cloud provider 1M. All other top 500 company need 1M GPU. They build these GPU over 3 year period, which means we need 3.3M per year. (1/4)
Assuming each GPU selling price is $10000. For the last 4 quarters, $nvda sold about 1.5M GPU equal to 15B$. Next quarter guideline is $11B revenue and I assume 7B is for data center GPU. It is equal to 0.7M GPU per quarter and 2.8M GPU yearly. it is close to the 3.3M. (3/4)
$ORCL revenue is flat from 2018 but they always can find some highlight from their revenue. For same revenue, it is different result from different perspective. With new way cloud/license, it is cloud 45% grow. With old way cloud application/infra license, it is 32%.
$CRM revenue keep increasing but y/y ratio drop to low number. Data drop to negative in the first time in recent year. It is why the stock fall recently.
