@CorvoAttano_14@bobtv Tough night… been through ownership garbage back in late 90’s as an Oiler fan. Always talked Yotes as my second team… respected the heck outta Doaner. So excited for Josh, so I can understand your sentiment for that side of it. Never understood Glendale’s stance on their barn.
@sjhurley95 @Trx417 But S’toon is a great sports city, the province very supportive of its teams. We loved our time in S’toon from pro basketball to the Blades to special events hosted at Sask Place and of course the Riders. Not sure on a long term NHL scenario. Other markets are more ready for it.
@sjhurley95 @Trx417 I’d buy into that… AHL would be slick. But are both an AHL and WHL team sustainable? Not trying to argue, just a realistic question. I’m not convinced an NHL team is realistic for the same reason (sustainability). With everything from gate to corporate backing to the arena… 1/2
@nielsonTSN1260 1. Crowd huge into it - you’d think it was HNIC!#
2. Skinner solid/calm during really strong zone possessions by Kings. D-men 100% committed to ensuring shutout with support and physicality.
3. McDavid zone exit SH is like watching the start of a World Cup downhill ski run. ⛷️
@nielsonTSN1260 1. The cream usually rises to the top (both games this week the team that won was the one that should). 2. Ingram, like Reimer, was as solid as you could hope for and the Yotes show up ready to fight every night. That’s great coaching. 3. We could still win division… push hard!
@nielsonTSN1260 Credit where it’s due… Reimer was a stud tonight. Sharks fought hard but gotta clean up their zone entries (at least against Woodcroft). The Schmitty watch is in full swing… just an opinion for playoffs. #LetsGoOilers
