Don’t ever believe that God can’t bring vibrant beauty to desert places.
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:19).

New Year’s Day, with all its promise and hope for change, lasts 24 hours at best. But the mercies of God and His grace for growth into Christlikeness last all year long.
“Great is thy faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:23).
The goodness of God and the greatness of His Word are too rich to only be tasted once.

“With Thee, O my God, is no disappointment. I shall never have to regret that I have loved Thee too well.”—Henry Martyn
There is no regret in loving Christ fully and following Him wholly.
One of my favorite Easter traditions is reading the Garden, Crucifixion, and Resurrection accounts of the four Gospels. What love! What hope! What triumph!!
Don't wait until Sunday to hear it. Pick one, and read it now: Matthew 27, Mark 15, Luke 23, or John 18.
God doesn't command us to 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 thanks but to 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 thanks. It is a choice—a sacrifice of praise we can offer to God.
By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. (Hebrews 13:15)
Excited about this new book and praying the Lord will use it to bring hope, encouragement, and a fresh focus on Christ this Christmas season!

“God’s mercy is so great that you may sooner drain the sea of its water, or deprive the sun of its light, or make space too narrow, than diminish the great mercy of God.”—Charles Spurgeon
"But God, who is rich in mercy..."—Ephesians 2:4
There is nothing like sharing the story of salvation to renew your own awe and gratitude for the great love of God!
(If you’re looking for a resource to share the gospel with others, this little book is excellent: https://t.co/MHfqWUlI4Y)
Do you ever feel overwhelmed by the gospel? Its simplicity, its generous extravagance…and just the incredible, sacrificial love of Christ?!
I had that experience twice this week – once while sharing the gospel with a young woman in her living room (she trusted Christ!), and
then again today while typing in edits for a(nother!) reprint of the Paid in Full gospel minibook.
Both times, I was reminded of the joy it is to not only know Christ, but also to share the gospel with others.
