@IsabelBSawyer Yes, my students complete all their writing using google docs. Individually and their collaborative writing. I still find though that some want/need the pencil paper to start off. #uvawac
@IsabelBSawyer Q8A8 I really want to start writing poetry again. I recently found my high school "book of poems" in my shed and forgot about how much I enjoyed it. I also use to write short dinner theater scripts just for friends to come over and eat and play a character. #uvawac
@IsabelBSawyer Q7A7 No I don't write with collaborate , well I do collaborate with my meeting minutes and my eligibility summary minutes. I'm pretty open if someone wants to change the wording as long as it is consistent with what needs to be stated. I do prefer to write alone. #uvawac
@IsabelBSawyer Q5A5 I do use some writing programs with my students like editing for grammar games and sentence vs fragments games on the smart board. They also type their paper and share with me on google drive I can see what they're struggle with fast. #uvawac
@IsabelBSawyer Q3A3 My biggest struggle are always conclusions. When I had to write the essay to get accepted to UVA it took days for me to decide how to conclude my essay. Yes, my students struggle with conclusions and introductions. #uvawac
@IsabelBSawyer Q6A6 Writing conferences. Having them share their writing. Try to build their confidence as a writer by giving the positive feedback when conferencing. Also providing the mini lessons so they can use what they learn quickly in their writing.#uvawac
@IsabelBSawyer Monica Spry again: When I write for work, IEP's etc. I have to research and really try to streamline the information. When I write for pleasure, I like to think about and dream about what I want to write about and how I want to convey my message. For class, plan writing. #uvawac
