While @eatsleepwild's dehydrated food business is presently on hold, I've started publishing the recipes for anyone out there who wants to make your own. This superb veggie tagine (inspired by my dear friend @thelaundry) was a top seller:

One of my goals this year is to learn how to better monetise my #Substack (@eatsleepwild and @wrires). This includes getting more personal - I don't want to re-hash the same SEO drivel that seems to appear over and over again. Sharing some ideas here >>> https://t.co/sTj4nW44Jd

Word of the Day (because it’s about time) is ‘respair’, from the 16th century. It means fresh hope, and a recovery from despair. One of too many lost positives we could do with bringing back.
Wishing everyone a gruntled, gormful, ruthful and feckful New Year, full of respair.
One for the writers community... I'm trialling a new offer via my @wrires#Substack: the 5-Point Portfolio Critique. Available to founding members. Would love any feedback on this! Or some portfolios to review. ;) https://t.co/HuhoADBCL3
It's been an interesting couple of days! We are two bins and one observatory shutter down, plus a telescope cover which we are about to go hunting for - we had a tip it's found its way into one of the local trees!
#Scotland scenery was cranking out all the hits last weekend, including this view of Quinaig as seen from the #nc500 driving from Lochinver towards Ullapool.
It's always nice to keep a record of great meals 🫕🧄🧅🍷 This was #wintersolstice menu last Fri. My highlight was the matar paneer, but I think guests would have voted the wild card Indian-inspired cauliflower trees as the star ✨ Read the full menu >>> https://t.co/LKC8OMowHU
My little book:
