My lab is looking for a new postdoc to investigate genes and mechanisms underlying carotenoid metabolism and carotenoid signaling in plant development. Please RT!

Thanks @GemmaJV@nrcwetenschap for the chance to talk about our research on plant resilience @UU_Plants@UUBeta plant awareness disparity and our efforts to overcome it 🌱❤️
Yesterday my wire sculpture of epidermis of Arabidopsis thaliana was moved to its permanent position - just down the Firth Hall stairwell and through the doors to the right. Doesn't it look great against a white wall! #stomata#sciart#scienceoutreach
Excited to be at the EPS annual meeting at Egmond; great location, exciting talks, and wonderful people! This year @EpsPhdCouncil have a stand and we are looking forward to seeing you! #Plantscience#EPS_PhD_Council
Ethylene is not always "the bad guy", but can also be very helpful when drowning 🌊.
Just a heads up if you haven't read our review yet!

Floods are happening more frequently with the prolonged periods of rainfall. Happy to be part of @R_Sasidharan group @UU_Plants where we study how root flooding affects a subsequent flooding event. It is a big umbrella (metaphorically) protecting the plant, so lots to discover!
Check out the first in the ‘Roots of the matter’ series - brainchild of the amazing Niels Kerstes @NielsKerstes @uubeta bringing @UU_Plants science stories to the broader public
@leonardojo giving an inspiring presentation about his work on ggPlantmap and how providing learning environments such as an Rclub can benefit all of us as a scientific community 💚
It is my great pleasure to announce ggPlantmap (https://t.co/s8nhbCXx4z), an open-source R package to create ggplot maps from plant images. Now, you can create beautiful plant heatmaps to be visualized and modified in a R coding environment.
I am so proud of my team always, but especially this week.
@leonardojo had an experimental delay of a week, I suggested some time to relax… and this is how he relaxed?
The package is fool (PI) proof!
Join @UUBeta for a 9-month master's internship in plant research. Explore stress responses and developmental mysteries. Exciting meeting with future plant scientists on Sep 12th at @UniUtrecht 's Kiosk Kruyt! 🌱🔬 https://t.co/Ikz9KmNhya
Trying out new research methods with machines taking care of plants! The @NPEC_nl at @UniUtrecht was distinct from our lab routine, involving special setups. Big thanks to the awesome Utrecht team for introducing us to this impressive plant facility and to @MuthannaBD for filming
You know how much we like measuring oxygen in plants. Thanks to @UnisenseDenmark and its customized oxygen sensors, we looked at oxygen levels in germinating seeds (brilliant work by @eva_ga96), calli (@g_panicucci), and meristems (@DaanWeits ). Are you up for more?
