Praying for all the journalists risking their lives tonight just so the public can see the truth of what’s happening in the Senate.
There is no substitute for a free press. No alternative to people willing to stand in the middle of chaos so the country can witness the truth in real time.
I just saw a woman explain why she doesnt do 50/50 on dates and her reasoning gagged me.
She said because: if i go alone id be paying for my meal, and if go on a date and pay 50/50 id still be paying for my meal so why would i want to get dressed up,and spend energy on emotional labor, holding conversations, entertaining my date, if im just gonna pay for my own food anyway? and Id rather wear my yoga set and scroll uninterrupted.
And couldnt have said that any better!!!

Stop forcing children to love absent relatives under the argument that they are family. No one is obligated to love someone who never cared and who never shows up. Love is something pure, from those who care and take an interest. It should not be confused with blood ties.

i have no desire to be rich so i can buy a rolex or a lamborghini.
i want to be rich so i can control my time and go to the gym at 3pm on a monday.
sit at a cafe and relax for an hour on a rainy afternoon.
so i can cook meals at home with fresh ingredients.
spend on my family and friends without worrying about a budget.
that's my idea of a rich life, not the fake consumerist idea shoved down my throat.
Walang kukurap habang nagpapatuloy ang 2026 budget deliberations sa BiCam! Some lawmakers are still shamelessly defending a system where Filipinos must go through politicians to access healthcare. The fix is simple: stop parking health funds with congressmen. Channel them directly to PhilHealth and hospitals. Walang padrino, walang epal, walang utang na loob— healthcare is a right and it’s paid for by the Filipino people!
🇵🇭 Why MAIFIP Feels Wrong — And Why It Matters for Every Filipino
Dr. Tony Leachon
We all want a health system that protects people — not one that forces them to beg for help.
That’s why so many Filipinos are uneasy about MAIFIP.
Because MAIFIP doesn’t strengthen Universal Health Care.
It sidesteps it.
Under the UHC Law, every Filipino should have automatic, rules‑based access to care through PhilHealth. No gatekeepers. No endorsements. No politics.
But MAIFIP creates a parallel, discretionary system where access depends on letters, offices, and influence.
That’s not universal care — that’s selective care.
And here’s the deeper issue:
The Supreme Court already struck down pork‑style programs that let politicians influence who gets public funds.
MAIFIP looks and feels like a return to that old system.
When health care becomes political, patients lose dignity.
When funds bypass UHC, the system weakens.
When programs depend on discretion, not rights, inequality grows.
Filipinos deserve a health system that is fair, automatic, and free from political mediation — exactly what UHC was designed to build.
Strengthen UHC.
Protect PhilHealth funds.
End discretionary health financing.
Put patients — not politics — at the center.
