This is the original extended version of Crocodile Dundee from 20th Century Fox, which was only available in Australia for many years. This extended cut has been out of print in its home country, with the last home video release being on DVD (which serves as the source for this release).

The transfer quality leaves much to be desired—it's an old 35mm transfer in a 4:3 flat-matted widescreen format. The black levels were crushed, the whites overexposed, and the video was also PAL interlaced.

I've converted the video to 23.98 progressive and adjusted the colors as best as possible to improve visibility in certain scenes.

The audio quality is poor as well, with a muddled 2.0 stereo mix.

This release is primarily for preservation purposes, as the 1986 International Cut has already phased out this version in Australia, and it will soon be replaced by an even shorter 'Encore Cut,' (worldwide) which removes jokes considered too offensive for modern audiences.

On speaking to the staff again i thought it best just to go and watch another movie in a different screen which they allowed me to do.

For the first time ever yesterday i walked out of a movie screening due to inconsiderate people talking loudly throughout.

The @ODEONCinemas staff were helpful and monitored the situation and the couple kept quiet but when the staff member left they went back into conversation.
