I’m so angry. There is a Targeted Retention Payment for FE teachers but because I teach BTEC and not A-level then I’m not eligible! Very unfair @bphillipsonMP this is wrong! Please correct this error.

@ShakinthatChalk Been thinking about this today. The birth rate is highest in aug/sept; exams during hayfever season; year is based on harvest and religion. 6 month cycle might be better than 12? Honestly, I say review the whole thing.

@ShakinthatChalk I agree. The structure of the day plus the year needs to be reviewed. There shouldn’t be this ridiculous cycle of burnout and recovery for anyone.
