@railLKB How much more did you pay for you unrestricted ticket 100% more or 500% more?
Equally while I don’t like open access services they do seem to bring prices down

The fix is really, really simple for most people - if you are being an undiscounted ticket buy it as you go to the station.

No building inspector is going to sign it off
@dazjamescarter@zatzi It is on gross profit, you sell goods for £30,000 you purchase goods for £20,000 deduct the VAT you pay out to other people and pay the VAT on the difference.
@jdpoc The current scheme costs Durham £4-10m a year.
So unless the Government starts funding local government correctly you are going to see more and more of this type of issue because councils need every penny they can find
