MONERO PRIVACY TIP YOU MAY NOW KNOW ABOUT
Here Is What You Should Know About Monero Addresses starting with 4...vs 8... .
1) The receive addresses (the ones you share with people for sending you XMR) starting with "8" have better privacy, when compared to addresses starting with "4".
2) By default Unstoppable wallet always shows the address starting with "8" for all Monero wallets. Only when you go to subaddresses section for the wallet you can see the respecitve address for the wallet starting with "4" (if you ever need it).
Our approach to privacy has always taken into account that "user knows nothing" and hence needs to be protected by default. So you don't have to bother about learning such bits.
This doesn't apply just to Monero wallets in Unstoppable app.
Same approach is taken for :
- Bitcoin wallets. There is no point in listing all capabilities we have build over the years enough to say we provide the most sophisticated and comprehensive Bitcoin wallet for mobile ever built. All on native mobile stack. All open source.
- for networking layer in the app: private RPCs for sending transactions, TOR connectivity
- crypto swap features include dozens under the hood privacy preserving mechanisms
- extensive support for privacy coins beyond Monero (ZANO, Zcash, soon ARRR) with ability to trade via DEXes
... ok enough bragging this was meant to be a quick post on our approach to Monero addresses :)

Your Linux PC can run a fully rooted Android 16 environment.
No virtual machine.
No dual boot.
Just Waydroid.
Built on Linux containers, Waydroid runs a near-native Android experience directly on your desktop.
In this setup:
• LineageOS 23 (Android 16)
• KernelSU with root access
• Linux kernel 6.19 host
• Excellent desktop performance
Why are people doing this?
• Test root modules safely
• Run Android-only apps on Linux
• Development & reverse engineering
• Gaming
• Experiment without modifying a physical phone
It's one of the most powerful Android setups you can build on Linux today.
BREAKING:
🇪🇺 EU passes chat control law opening doors for governments to spy on personal conversations 🚨
👉 Here are apps to opt-out:
•Signal (@signalapp) — Default E2EE, audited protocol, public opposition to Chat Control.
•SimpleX Chat (@SimpleXChat) — No user IDs, decentralized relays, strong anti-scanning stance.
•Keet (@keet_io) — True P2P with no central servers or data collection.
•Venice AI (@AskVenice) — Private on-device AI chats with anonymized/private inference.
•Briar — Fully decentralized P2P mesh (Bluetooth/Tor/Wi-Fi), offline-capable, no servers.
•Session (@session_app) — Decentralized network + onion routing, no phone number, metadata-resistant E2EE.
•Element (Matrix) — Federated protocol with E2EE; self-host for full control.
•Threema (@ThreemaApp) — E2EE by default, explicit vow never to implement spying features.
•Bitchat — Bluetooth mesh P2P (offline-first, no internet/servers/phone numbers); ad-hoc decentralized networks.
•White Noise (@whitenoisechat) — Nostr decentralized relays + MLS E2EE; identity-free.
•Radar Chat (@RadarChat) — E2EE messaging (Signal Protocol) + private self-custodial Lightning payments.
•KakaoTalk (@kakaotalk_japan) — Centralized with optional secret E2EE chats (weaker fit overall).
•Jami — Decentralized P2P (no central servers), E2EE voice/video/text.
•Delta Chat — Email-based with strong E2EE; leverages existing decentralized email infrastructure.
•Cwtch — Anonymous, metadata-resistant group messaging on decentralized infrastructure.
•Molly — Hardened, privacy-focused fork of Signal (Android) with extra protections.
These options prioritize architectures that make mass surveillance or forced client-side scanning technically difficult or impossible. The most resistant tend to be the fully decentralized/P2P ones (Bitchat, Briar, Keet, SimpleX, Session, Jami, etc.).

I have been in love with the ecosystem for years watching it grow!
I am on the team which created a replacement for NGROK with zero central servers:

Furthermore, I created a P2P JavaScript Operating System: https://t.co/pyHyKcJoj8
Just recently, I started a P2P Honeypot security company at zero cost:
