Making a cosy sci-fi western "survival-lite" game 🌌
Settle a broken colony, power it up, make it your own

I’m working on a cosy sci-fi western “survival-lite” game.
You arrive at a broken settlement on a distant world, fix it up, power it on, and slowly make it feel like home.
More soon.
THERE BE GOLD IN THEM HILLS!
Panning was a bit rubbish because you'd either get no resources or a load of the same resource.
Reworked it so you get a much nicer spread that feels a bit more realistic.
Now I just need arms...

Been adding the finishing touches to some of the systems already in place.
Lights now switch on and off automatically at dawn and dusk.
Looking forward to using this event system elsewhere in the world.

Started building some life away from the settlement.
After a day of fixing things, mining and generally trying not to die, it's nice to have somewhere to spend the evening.
I particularly enjoy the swinging saloon doors.

@IndieWithMatheo I'm working on a Survival Lite game where you have your own plot of land on a moon that is on the edge of the Galaxy. The future meets the wild west.
Been a hectic few days, but it’s been great updating some of the in-world UI.
It’s wild how much difference a decent font can make.
Still need to update the interaction prompts and settle on a font for those too.

@XfeedX24 In the absolute nicest way possible - this reminds me of so many early playstation / xbox games. Obviously your graphics are way better. I love it. Really nice job!
@Magexy07 That looks crazy good. Can't imagine how much time it took to make that kind of ui / folder system. You got some magic behind it or is every window an object?
