@25watchtower@UKDecline It's also the case that every department is run by a wet lettuce middle manager with a spreadsheet who decrees that every job must be done exactly to the letter and no more, lest the job cost a couple of quid more or take a bit longer than expected.
@IconoclastPig 1250 asylum seekers on top of a village of 370 people is by their own definition ethnic cleansing. What's going to happen when protesters from the local community set up shop and are immediately outnumbered ten to one? There's going to be a slaughter.
@YorkshiremanDan We should simply refuse to play these stupid ideological games anymore and just tell them to shut up. Refuse to accept leftist framing in any and all situations.
@BullMooseMemes People are so insulated from harm that the system which created such an unprecedented level of safety is taken for granted. To the point where nobody thinks about how the system came to be in the first place, or what'll happen when they start dismantling it.
@NobodySperg The Cotswolds is home to rich people, celebrities, politicians and royalty. These people enjoy their cosy little slice of idyllic, olde worlde English nostalgia while doing everything they can to take it away from everybody else.
@electrajpeg What many people fail to understand is that the UK is a net importer of energy because the pursuit of the mythical "Net Zero" (that nobody ever voted for) has left us unable to generate enough electricity to support the power grid.
@AppalledHamster Promising to dramatically reduce immigration is a guaranteed vote winner, this one policy has been one of the top priorities for voters for the past thirty years at least. Farage was at peak popularity before he started softening his previously hardline anti-immigration rhetoric.
@MythoYookay I wonder why he has strong opinions on immigration but nothing to say about the thousands of acts of vandalism, assaults or thefts. Not to mention the centuries-old stone churches that seem to just spontaneously burst into flames every so often.

@TheGriftReport@DailyMail Politicians only care about rules, morality, decorum and the sanctity of the democratic process when they have no power.
When they're in charge they will break rules, be hypocritical, negligent and unethical with impunity because they have power and you don't.
@NotFarLeftAtAll We are being suffocated by third-worlders as punishment for Brexit, there's no doubt about that. I'd like to know to what extent our former and current politicians are complicit.
@TheHauskarl >the state is asking the state for permission to do what the state wants
On some level you have to admire just how unashamedly malevolent these people are.
@Publius819@realhansard For some reason Reformers are completely blind to this. They'll claim that Restore are some kind of Tory scheme to hijack the right, but when you point out all the ex-Tories in Reform their eyes just glaze over.
@GamesNosh The client groups didn't take power, it was handed to them by countless little concessions being made by cowards over a long period of time.
