(...) [Halbuki] Hz. Peygamber sallallâhu aleyhi ve sellem'in vefatından sonra onun şahsını uyanıkken/yakazaten kafa gözüyle görmek mümkün değildir. (...) Huccet[ü'l-İslâm Gazâlî] şöyle demektedir: 'Vefatından sonra Peygamberimiz'i görenler onun bedenini göremez. Onların gördükleri, Peygamberimiz'in ruhu veya şahsı değildir. Bilakis [kalbî bir] misâlidir."

Abū al-Suʿūd Effendi (898-982H)—the Shaykh al-Islām of the Ottoman Empire—and his fatwā declaring the Twelver Shīʾah as disbelievers and demanding that they be fought
• Abū al-Suʿūd Effendi gave the following fatwā when he was asked about the Twelver Shīʿah:
❝Is fighting them permitted, and are those who do so counted as combatants in a lawful jihād? Is the one killed from our side in that a martyr, even though they claim that their leader is from the family of the Prophet ﷺ? And how is it permissible to fight them when they say: “There is no deity but Allāh?”❞
• He answered:
❝Fighting them is a greater armed jihād, and the one killed from our side in the battle is a martyr. They are rebels because they have departed from obedience to the Imām, and they are disbelievers from many angles. They are outside the 73 sects of the Islāmic sects, because they have invented disbelief and misguidance compounded from the desires of the aforementioned sects, and their disbelief does not remain upon one single pattern, but rather increases little by little.
Among their disbelief is that they demean the noble sharīʾah, the books of the sharīʾah, and the Imāms of the religion; they prostrate to their accursed leader; they deem lawful what has been established as forbidden by decisive proofs; they revile the two Shaykhs [Abū Bakr and ʿUmar], may Allāh Most High be pleased with them both, and reviling them is disbelief; and they revile the truthful woman [ʿĀʾishah] and extend their tongues against her. The declaration of her innocence and purity, may Allāh be pleased with her, was revealed, so by that they attach this disgrace to the presence of the Prophet ﷺ and that is reviling on their part against his presence, may Allāh bless him and grant him peace.
Thus, the scholars of the major cities have unanimously agreed on the permissibility of killing them, and that whoever doubts their disbelief is an unbeliever. According to the Greatest Imām [Abū Ḥanīfah] , Sufyān al-Thawrī, and al-Awzāʿī, if they repent and return from their disbelief to Islām, they are saved from killing, and pardon is hoped for them like the rest of the disbelievers when they repent.
As for Mālik, al-Shāfiʿī, Aḥmad b. Ḥanbal, Layth b. Saʿd, and the rest of the great scholars, their repentance is not accepted, their Islām is not considered valid, and they are killed as a legal punishment. Then, if our Imām [Sulṭān Sulaymān I]—may Allāh Most High support him—acts according to one of the statements of the Imāms, it is lawful. As for those of them who are scattered throughout the lands and upon whom the traces of their hideous belief do not appear, they are not to be interfered with, and the aforementioned rulings do not apply to them. As for their leader and whoever follows him and fights for his fighting, there is no hesitation at all concerning him, due to their committing the aforementioned types of disbelief by mass-transmitted report.
There is no doubt that fighting them is more important than fighting the rest of the disbelievers. Abū Bakr, may Allāh be pleased with him, gave precedence to fighting Musaylimah and those who followed him over fighting others, even though the outskirts of Madīnah were filled with disbelief, and Greater Syria and other lands were not conquered until the earth had been purified of Musaylimah and his followers. Likewise did ʿAlī, may Allāh be pleased with him, do in fighting the Khārijites. Thus, the lawful armed struggle against them is more important, without any doubt or uncertainty, and the one killed from our side in their battle is a martyr.❞
Ibn Kamāl Pāshā’s (873-940H) fatwā on the Twelver Shīʾah being disbelievers that must be fought
Ibn Kamāl Pāshā was the Shaykh al-Islām of the Ottoman Empire before Abū al-Suʿūd Effendi.
• Ibn Kamāl Pāshā said:
❝Praise be to Allāh, the Exalted, the Magnificent, the Strong, the Generous, and prayer be upon Muḥammad, the guide to a straight path, and upon his family, who followed him in the upright religion. To proceed:
Reports and transmitted accounts have become mass-transmitted in the lands of the believers that a group of the Shīʿah have overcome many lands of the Sunnīs, until they manifested their false doctrines. They openly manifested reviling Imām Abū Bakr, Imām ʿUmar, and Imām ʿUthmān, may Allāh Most High be pleased with them all. For they used to deny the caliphate of these rightly guided caliphs and rightly guided Imāms. They used to belittle the sharīʾah and its people, and they would revile the independent jurists, claiming that following the schools of these independent jurists is not free of difficulty, unlike following the path of their head and leader whom they named Shāh Ismāʿīl. For they claim that following his path is extremely easy and of utmost benefit, and they claim that whatever the shah makes lawful is lawful, and whatever he makes unlawful is unlawful. The shah has made wine lawful, so wine is lawful.
In sum, the types of their disbelief transmitted to us by mass-transmission are beyond counting and enumeration. Thus we do not doubt their disbelief and apostasy, and that their land is an abode of war; and that the marriage of their males and females is invalid by agreement, so each of their children inevitably becomes a child of fornication. Whatever one of them slaughters becomes carrion. Whoever wears their red cap that is particular to them without necessity, the fear of disbelief regarding him is predominant, for in that there are apparent signs of disbelief and deviation. Then their rulings are among the rulings of apostates, such that if they overcome their cities, those cities become an abode of war, so their wealth, their women, and their children become lawful for the Muslims. As for their men, it is obligatory to kill them unless they enter Islām; then, at that time, they become free persons like the rest of the free Muslims, unlike one who openly manifests being a heretic, for he must absolutely be killed. If any person leaves the abode of Islām, chooses their false religion, and joins their abode, then the judge may rule that he is dead, his wealth is divided among the heirs, and his wife may be married to another husband. It must also be known that fighting against them is an individual obligation upon all the people of Islām who are capable of fighting them.
We shall transmit from the legal issues what validates the rulings that we mentioned previously. So we say, and success is through Allāh:
It is mentioned in al-Bazzāziyyah that whoever denies the caliphate of Abū Bakr, may Allāh be pleased with him, is an disbeliever according to the sound position, and that whoever denies the caliphate of ʿUmar, may Allāh be pleased with him, is an disbeliever according to the more correct position. The Khārijites must be declared disbelievers because of their declaring ʿUthmān a disbeliever. It is mentioned in al-Tatārkhāniyyah that whoever denies the caliphate of Abū Bakr, the sound position is that he is an disbeliever; likewise the caliphate of ʿUmar, may Allāh be pleased with him, and it is the soundest of the statements. Likewise, reviling the two shaykhs is disbelief. If he says, “I am free of the school of Abū Ḥanīfah, may Allāh be pleased with him,” or says, “I am free of the school of al-Shāfiʿī,” he becomes an disbeliever. Whoever deems lawful something forbidden whose prohibition is known in the religion of Islām, such as drinking wine, is an disbeliever. If he ties on the girdle or wears the cap, seriously or jokingly, he becomes a disbeliever.

Britain built its wealth by plundering its colonies.
After renaming Ghana the Gold Coast, British colonial rule spent more than 136 years stripping the country of its gold, filling its own vaults, and looting priceless cultural treasures for display in British museums.
Today, despite having no significant gold mines of its own, the United Kingdom sits on roughly 400,000 gold bars worth an estimated $320 billion,a fortune which was built on centuries of colonial exploitation and extraction.
