@WitAndWiticism The final out of the season was Verdugo flailing at a ball in the dirt after a career worst season. No urgency, no desire to get Dominguez involved at end of season, no one to turn to in a good matchup. I thought we'd fade earlier in the playoffs and this somehow sucks more!
@WitAndWiticism I hope I'm wrong, I just think the constant "it's right there in front of us" attitude belies that they think this squad was actually on the same level as the Dodgers and they simply weren't. Game 2 ends with Trevino needing to pinch hit because our bench is devoid of bats.
@WitAndWiticism I think Hal is a very complacent owner, and he'll try saving money at 2nd with Peraza and let Gleyber walk. He'll have a hard $ limit with Soto like he did Yamamoto, and otherwise the roster will be basically the same. I dread more Verdugo ABs in pinstripes.
@WitAndWiticism I think he pretty singlehandedly blew game 1 going to Nestor in the 10th, but beyond that the sloppy fundamentals are a hallmark of the Boone era. The only player who ever got benched for poor hustle was Gleyber (who will be gone this offseason)
@MrTooDamnChris Genuinely incredible using the "sick joke" monologue here too, the thing that demonstrates to his peers that he's unstable and cannot be trusted to think rationally
@boredgm So a country's legal position on abortion has less effect on someone's access than national wealth? Swinging for the fences on that one aren't you
@endofanerajc There have already been attempts to ban abortions of ectopic pregnancies - are people miraculously surviving carrying those to term moving forward?
@M_Roman86@saraherib @lindseyadler Thabo Sefolosha got a $4 million dollar settlement from the NYPD for breaking his leg during a bullshit arrest. Sterling Brown got confronted by six officers for parking in an accessible spot. Did their wealth play a big part in protecting them from racist treatment?
