"If you worship your enemy, you are defeated. If you adopt your enemy’s religion, you are enslaved. If you breed with your enemy, you are destroyed."
Polydoros of Sparta (741 to c. 665 BC)
Boomers have no idea how badly Gen Z has been rugpulled. India produces over 1 crore graduates a year now but there's hardly any decent white collar employment to absorb them, which is why the competition for sarkari naukri is so cutthroat. The stats are brutal: between 2014-2022, 22 crore people applied for central govt jobs and just 7.22 lakh got through. That's 3 out of every 1,000.
The government job pipeline their parents walked into basically doesn't exist anymore. The IT body-shopping fallback is dying too - top 4 IT companies slashed 42,000+ jobs in two years, tech layoffs crossed 1 lakh in 2025. Covid wiped out whatever momentum existed, AI is eating entry-level roles, and fresher hiring has cratered.
A kid landing Rs 25,000/month today isn't failing, they're surviving a job market where railways get 2.8 crore applications for 90,000 posts.
Boomers calling this generation lazy have simply never had to compete for anything at this scale.
Bharat ek irony-pradhan desh hai.
YouTuber Rachna Gurjar of Shivpuri (MP) used to make reels showing off her gold collection. Thieves studied her house layout and CCTV placement from those very reels and then stole her gold, cash, and a even crate of energy drinks.
India is so mired in superficial displays of patriotism that many have forgotten what it truly means to love a country. Real love isn’t loud slogans, chest-thumping, or blind loyalty. It’s caring enough to confront problems, demand better, and work every day to improve the lives of your fellow citizens.
