@rupertaggie Don’t get me wrong, I ship RuTag but I absolutely see that Taggie does deserve better. He’s done very nice things to her but also horrible things. Do I think Bas is a better person than Rupert? Just slightly. Do I think Bas has been treating Taggie better since ep1? Absolutely.

@rupertaggie THANK YOU. Rupert stans are kinda getting very defensive about RuTag being endgame and it’s getting slightly annoying because fans of the show should be allowed to ship whoever they want. Just because they ship a couple who isn’t endgame doesn’t mean it’s wrong to.

It’s not fair that you excuse Rupert’s behaviour but the discussion of Taggie potentially sleeping with Bas sends you off the rails. What’s actually being said is that Bas has been treating Taggie better than Rupert since episode 1, not that Bas is perfect. #RivalsS2

@jessiicaalvsf This is what I’m saying, Rupert gets to sleep with god knows who while Taggie has to stay chaste for him? I’m not a fan of that storyline tbh. Taggie needs to experience the feeling of being wanted outside of Rupert. Bas is a rake as much as Rupert, but he’s never hurt Taggie.

@penscombes_ Personally, I never understood why Cameron ended up tangled with the O’Hara family. She’s had the dad, the son and the son in law. That’s weird in any scenario to me. I just thought Cameron is far smarter than be stuck there.

@filmocholic This! We all know Taggie’s endgame is Rupert but he’s literally not able to commit to her. While Bas is there being hot, available and sweet to her. Frankly, I’m not a fan of the trope of where the man sleep with whoever he wants while the girl stays chaste and waiting for him.
