Today marks 25 years since the closure of Vaux Breweries in Sunderland, an integral part of our city's heritage, history and culture.

Here is some archive footage from the last days of the Brewery taken in June 1999. Despite that it is gone, its memory and legacy will never be forgotten and continues to live on by other means.
