Harris County Texas Treasurer says she will not be “disrespected” and asks that her salary be MORE THAN DOUBLED from $140,000 to $305,000

🚨 Under Harris County's proposed budget, most countywide elected officials, including all 8 constables will make $305,000 a year

The city has a $181 million budget shortfall and is considering raising property takes on residents

The salary increases to $305,000 for most countywide elected officials, including the eight constables, county attorney, district attorney, county clerk, district clerk and tax assessor-collector were approved by Commissioners Court and are included in the proposed budget

Residents will not be allowed to vote to reject the new salary increases, the final vote will be made by the commissioners

The same people who already approved their salary increases will vote against to finalize them

Everyone will be making $305,000 per year each from taxpayers, this is what organized crime looks like
