tvN’s new weekend drama “100 Days of Deception” has officially unveiled its first teaser, marking a spectacular beginning.

Set to premiere this October, the series has begun raising anticipation among drama fans by signalling the start of its gripping story with about 100 days remaining until its first broadcast.

The cast leading this sweeping epic is equally impressive.

Park Jinyoung stars as Kim Tae-woong, the adopted son of the Director-General of Political Affairs and the Government-General’s newly appointed elite interpreter, fluent in English, Japanese and Korean. During the dark period when Japan sought to justify its colonial rule through propaganda, he returns to his homeland after ten years abroad to undertake a critical mission.

He commented:

“As this story deals with a significant period in history, I’m filming with a careful and solemn mindset, and I’ll continue to give it my very best.”

Note: tvN’s highest ratings record is held by “Queen of Tears” (2024), while the “10-million moviegoer actor” refers to Jin Seon-kyu, whose film “Extreme Job” (2019) surpassed 10 million cinema admissions at the Korean box office.
