@oliverjumpertz Yes also consider: people usually prefer to work with people they like. Generally, I’d take a less technically competent person who is easy to deal with over someone who is expertly qualified but cannot manage interpersonal relationships and is difficult to work with.

@thesamparr Don’t b lazy! screens are not to ‘keep them busy’… screens are powerful learning tools to open their minds. Use common sense rules: no screens at meals, time limits: not before x in am or after y in pm. Screens don’t replace parenting! Apps: brainpop, duolingo, slicefractions

@tanay_texplorer The ‘corporate ladder’ is defined by gatekeepers and social signaling, so a GOOD degree is very helpful - IF that is your goal. Do you NEED it to be happy and successful? No. There are many pathways to reach the mountain top.
