Generalization is the enemy of critical thinking.

The moment I see someone blaming an entire religion, ethnic group, race, or community for the actions of a few, I immediately know I'm not dealing with someone who's well informed.

If a government oppresses its people, hold that government accountable. If terrorists commit atrocities, blame the terrorists. Stop blaming an entire faith for the actions of people who misuse it.

The same standard should apply to every religion, culture, and ideology.

Not every law in some Arab countries comes from Islam. Many of the harsh restrictions, especially those targeting women, are rooted in local culture, politics, or governments, not the religion itself.
Ask yourself this.. why aren't all Arab countries having the same law???
