I am going to attempt to watch 365 films in 2023 and I am going to keep this thread going throughout the year. Not necessarily everyday, but by the end of year and I want a good 75% to be films I’ve not seen.
The artist that did this amazing cover had to take it down because he was being harassed by people that can't discern fiction from reality. They think bullying an artist because they don't like the subject matter is perfectly okay. It's not. grow up. THX. The cover rocks.
If you could choose ONE creative team to tell the DEFINITIVE Superman run, from his origin to the ending of his story, like the way Robert Kirkman got to do with Invincible.
Who would you choose?
Grant Morrison literally saved Superman comics by coming back and stopping DC from turning Superman into a right-wing tyrant. Grant Morrison said: "Superman is not a right-wing authoritarian! That’s not how you do it" and then they delivered an actually fresh take on Superman
Congratulations to the visual effects team behind ANDOR on their Creative Arts Emmy® Awards win for Outstanding Special Visual Effects In A Season Or A Movie! #Emmys
Seeing this man’s face on a daily basis is just depressing at this point. I’ve never liked the road looking man… I shouldn’t say that. That is really mean to toads.
I will never understand why so many people want realism in superhero movies. An alien who wears his pants on the outside and has laser eyes, frost breath and can fly and hangs out with a dog with the same powers with a little cape and you want that to be realistic.
Frank Grillo says there's a big secret DC project in the works:

Since @PhillipKJohnson took over on Action Comics, the combination of @TomTaylorMade, Joshua Williamson and Mark Waid and the Superman Superstars team have made it one of the strongest periods of the Blue Boy Scout!
Iyou told me last year that Absolute Batman would be at #1 ten issues in (I didn’t think it’dbe #1 at its first) and the Absolute books would also be all over the top ten, winning Eisners (huge congrats again Kelly @Cleanlined and Clayton!) I wouldn’t have believed it. Best fans
The inflation argument that people keep using for MOS and Superman is driving me up the wall. If we take inflation into account the biggest film of all time is Gone With The Wind a movie that Snyder fans would hate because there is an explosion and slow motion every 5 seconds.
There is just something holding me back from loving it and I can’t quite figure it out.
Do love the respect it had for Jack Kirby though, it’s about time the movies have him some love.
Not quite sure how I feel about Fantastic Four. It’s a good movie but I didn’t love it. I think Vanessa Kirby absolutely steals the film and it feels more like a Phase 1 Marvel movie in the best ways. I applaud it for trying something different.
