gabrielle is one of the most compelling characters in the tvl book, you guys cannot understand the depth of my grief about the way she’s been treated so far. i can’t help but feel like she’s boring, nothing about her femme fatale persona has intrigued me yet. i hope this changes.
armand hasnt appeared in the modern timeline yet cause he's been playing stardew valley and he kinda lost track of time and suddenly it's been three years with no contact. happens to the best of us
i've been forced to humble my expectations by the first two episodes of s3 so all i hope now is that assad gets to act his ass off to some good dialogues
my fave part of book lestat is that he's set up to be this kinda angry noble Dracula esque figure from Louis' POV and then in TVL he greets you w a fistful of glitter and a kiss on the cheek and you're like oh okay. Louis read Wuthering Heights too much as a teen
"I love you still. I will all my nights and all my slumbering days, forever. Your face is as a jewel given me, which I can never forget, though I may foolishly lose it. Its glister will torture me forever."
Girl and if Sam really loves the books I NOW UNDERSTAND why he was throwin' the laptop across the room reading the script for this... because this is not Bookstat whatsoever, this is a whole different person!
i think their inability to portray desire, curiosity, magnetism, intimacy, psychic attraction and sensuality in vampiric relationships without resorting to literal sex impoverished many aspects of the story. but this is my own perception.
Girl ok I finally watched the first two episodes of TVL
1. Why pretend to use TVL book as reference material when we have gone so very, very far off the rails?
2. Rest In Peace Bookstat, hopefully I can live to see the day where your personality is portrayed as it actually is :(
@Delta I have been through JFK's torture chamber of Hell and the only angelic figure who stepped up to help me is Eddie. Give that man a raise, a bonus and a trip to Hawaii please
