To celebrate Pride Month, publisher Oni Press and Warner Bros. Discovery are releasing the first-ever Adventure Time Pride Special comic centered on Princess Bubblegum and Marceline the Vampire Queen.

Plot Details:

Titled PB & Marcy's Infinite Mixtape #1, the 40-page comic tests the iconic couple's relationship. While trying to write a song for the Pride Ooopen Mic Battle of the Bands, they struggle creatively. Princess Bubblegum discovers an unfinished mixtape filled with tracks tied to past memories (like a disastrous diner date). As they revisit these mundane and fantastical moments, they realize they remember things very differently, leading to bickering and doubts about whether they have lost their spark.

Writer: The story is written by longtime Adventure Time fan and journalist Rosie Knight.

Artist: Interior art is provided by Evengia Vereli.

Covers: The issue features four unique variant covers in wildly different art styles by Evengia Vereli, Chan, Jaki King, and Mary Ainza.

The special releases in comic book stores this June.
