sometimes (often?) someone's feedback in workshop is more about wanting a poem to be easier to read (for them) than about trying to help the poem open into greater (stranger) possibilities

this was one of the motivating forces behind starting workshops for gaza 💓 to divest entirely from the complicit prestige circuit and build something new. no honorarium, no profit, no cv line, just direct aid to gaza. that's what we're doing.
