Severe storm threat Thursday-Thursday night. The remnants of the tropical system in the Gulf will move across Georgia. Damaging wind gusts 60 mph+ are possible. Brief tornadoes are also possible, mainly across the southern half of our area. Location depends on low pressure track
@MikeyUnovapix@paul_rolla91556@Milajoy I may not be here to see it, but I suspect that by the time Prince George is ready to be King, there won’t be any palaces, or Crown Jewels because they will be stripped and stolen. And likely no monarchy at all.
@Rainmaker1973 I think this was at Cade’s Cove, near Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, TN. Elk have been introduced there. 😮 it’s been a few years since this happened.
11am update: TROPICAL STORM ARTHUR has formed in the western Gulf. It's moving northeast and will dissipate over Louisiana tomorrow AM.
The remnants reach Georgia later Thursday and will bring the potential for severe storms and flooding. I'll be tracking it live on Channel 2.
Wed AM update: the potential tropical cyclone may briefly reach tropical storm strength near Galveston, TX this afternoon. It is so close to land that it has been struggling to strengthen.
The remnants of this system will bring heavy rain and a severe threat locally.
@BradNitzWSB I thought the name ‘Bertha’ was familiar. It was a hurricane in 1996. For some reason, I thought the names were retired once used, but I had to Google it. 🤔👍
@ReedTimmerUSA I watched and thought you guys were goners. Then you said “I’m never doing that again!” And half expected your crew to start chanting “Let’s go again! let’s go again!” And then you’d put them out of the car 😂
I’m glad you all are okay!
@CourtTV If someone is drunk enough and wants to fight, they’d take on Chuck Norris and think they’d win. Bar fights and street fights are much diff than a controlled fight in a ring.
