i launched my own zine!!!

i never thought this day would come, but here we are. i decided to call it a protest against not feeling anything because i don't know how much this algorithmic world asks us to feel anymore, or if we feel anything at all.

i wrote more about the why behind it in this essay, though the real reason is something i don't think i can fully put into words. it can only be experienced once you hold it in your hands.

it's the first finite thing i've made, and if it reminds you of one thing, i hope it's that you don't have to be afraid to feel again.

Really thankful to Pewds actually. His latest vid helped me in facing one of the aspects of art I have been avoiding since it looks hard and would need a lot of time studying (gesture drawing and dynamic poses).
And yet, all it takes to warm up is a 30-sec or 3-minute sketches.

PewDiePie visit at Wit Studio inspired me to also try 30-second to 3-minute quick pose sketches even though I know nothing much about anatomy yet. But it helps break the analysis paralysis and gets me to practice more. And my son even joined and started posing like pewds XD
