I strongly condemn the barbaric violence against Hindus, Christians, and other minorities who are getting attacked and looted by mobs in Bangladesh, which remains in a total state of chaos.
It would have never happened on my watch. Kamala and Joe have ignored Hindus across the world and in America. They have been a disaster from Israel to Ukraine to our own Southern Border, but we will Make America Strong Again and bring back Peace through Strength!
We will also protect Hindu Americans against the anti-religion agenda of the radical left. We will fight for your freedom. Under my administration, we will also strengthen our great partnership with India and my good friend, Prime Minister Modi.
Kamala Harris will destroy your small businesses with more regulations and higher taxes. By contrast, I cut taxes, cut regulations, unleashed American energy, and built the greatest economy in history. We will do it again, bigger and better than ever before—and we will Make America Great Again.
Also, Happy Diwali to All. I hope the Festival of Lights leads to the Victory of Good over Evil!
Now, Islamists are attacking Christian minorities in #Bangladesh.
On the night of 12/08/2024, Islamists attacked a Church in #Dhaka.
Islamists vandalised the Church and a statue inside it and set ablaze the Church.
The Church is situated in Kachpur village under Narayangarh Upazila of Dhaka district.
Horrific news of Hindu persecution coming in from #Satkhira district of #Bangladesh.
Hindu minorities are describing their experiences during anti-Hindu violence.
1st man is Dinesh Dutta. He worked as a Rural doctor. On the night of 5th of August, 2024, Islamists attacked his home.
Dinesh Dutta describes, “They looted everything. They vandalised everything in my house- fridge, AC, furnitures, windows. They looted gold jewellery, money and other things worth BDT 10 lacs. I called Army and police so many times. I got no response. They didn't come. I somehow managed to save my life. I have to leave my home with only one shirt and one pant, which I'm wearing now. I have nothing left now.”
He is also afraid to disclose the names of Islamists who attacked his house. He said, “ If I disclose their names, I'll no be alive”.
Several others also described same type of horrific atrocities.
1/2. Fear and Intimidation a Hallmark of "New" #Bangladesh of Dr. #Yunus: Rokeya Prachi, a cultural activist, and others were peacefully protesting at the vandalised #Bangabandhu Museum in #Dhaka. They were beaten up by unidentified assailants. Prachi believes they were targeted.
Despite Death Threats Few Patriotic Citizens Went To Bangabandhus House At Dhanmondi To Pay Respect For Him Ahead Of His Death Anniversary
Actress Rokeya Prachi Was Attacked By Mob Of Man After Paying Respect.
Yes, For What?
For Paying Respect To Father Of The Nation.
Welcome To New #Bangladesh
Babor Ali, an #AwamiLeague worker, was taken from in front of his home in #Bogura and just slaughtered like livestock. Imagine the chilling effect in #Bangladesh#media that such barbarity does not get breaking #news coverage. News🔽

It is of great concern that an eminent #Bangladesh academic, Professor M Anwar Hossain, was violently attacked on August 5 simply on the basis of his opinions, which were, in this case concerned with his previous support of the country's International Crimes Tribunal. Whatever one might think of this trial process, people should not be subject to any kind of violence because they supported these tribunals.
In a recently released statement - see below - Hossain's wife described how her "husband wanted to witness the unprecedented mass uprising of the students" and so togeter went to the airport. This is what she then describes:
"When we arrived exactly in front of the Airport, an unknown person who appeared to be in his early 40s suddenly approached my husband and began to shout: “I recognise you. You’re the Professor who was against Jamaat [Jamaat-e-Islami] at the Tribunal [International Crimes Tribunal]. We saw you on the television.” The same person tried forcefully taking my husband down a narrow lane opposite the Airport. My family members and I strongly resisted this. Almost instantly, several more agitated people (three to four) gathered around my husband. They started chanting “Naara-e-Takbeer”. One of them said, “You spoke against Jamaat. We’re going to slit your throat.” The agitated individuals unleashed a vicious attack on my husband with various objects. One of them said: “Hit him on his head. Kill him.” In our desperate attempts to save him, we could not tell what kind of objects were used during the attack. However, my husband can recall that he felt like a large stone or brick and a sharp iron object were used to strike his face, forehead, the top and back of his head, and chest many times."
There must be no place for these kinds of attacks, and the person who did this should be brought to account. There is no point in replacing one repressive political culture, with another similarly repressive one, just changing around the people who are repressed and are doing the repressing.
Among the heartbreaking stories of #AwamiLeague supporters and workers getting lynched across #Bangladesh since Aug 5, here's a particularly sad one: Father and son duo beaten to death by a mob in #Laxmipur. Yunus-led interim govt hasn't acknowledged these crimes even. Shame.
1/2. Protesters at #Shahbagh today gave Dr. Yunus-led interim govt 3 days ultimatum to start #justice process for the attacks on #Hindus across #Bangladesh since fall of Hasina Govt. They also demanded trials under Speedy Trial Tribunal, compensation for, and rehab of, victims.
Literally, a mob forced judges of 🇧🇩's highest court to resign on threats of destroying the court. They then appointed judges of their own liking. And the interim govt, rather than discipline the students, gave them full backing. Basically giving the finger to the constitution.
The protestors, who are also part of the interim govt, would like to see all #journalists they don't like, to disappear from their field. Isn't this #fascism? I don't expect anything from Dr. Asif Nazrul. But does HRD #AdilurRahman agree with such madness? What about Dr. #Yunus?
2/2. Additionally, the critical mass outside campuses came from ultra right-wing orgs like Jamaat. Listen to what this Jamaat leader has to say- "Do you think this movement and revolution was done by students? That's incorrect. This was done by Jamaat and Islami Chhatra Shibir".
@MichaelKugelman Why would they burn a musician's house then?
Why would they burn a library then?
Why would they torch Hindu temples, houses and villages?
An Islamic terrorist group in Bangladesh vandalized and looted the Parliament building and then, sitting in the very seats of the Parliament, declared that they would take control of it.

Islamic terrorists are gathering in front of the National Mosque ‘Baitul Mukarram’ in Dhaka, announcing the establishment of a caliphate. Flags resembling those of banned Islamic militant organisations are seen in their hands. They aim to turn Bangladesh into a failed state like Syria or Afghanistan. If these groups are not controlled soon, the map of Bangladesh may no longer be recognizable.
