@beety00907@Kyrrdis 1. Way more than 3 people, and not everyone publically talked about it. there are tens of them.
2. getting 10k likes, praising them and sh00ting for them IS normalizing it.
3. how was i rude i didnt qrt or reply to them i just tweeted to my 200 followers + i was being civil?
"if you could afford it you'd do the same" actually no, i technically have the money to buy a 3k resale ticket i just wouldnt pay that much to a reseller because since i work hard for my money and dont have rich parents, i believe concerts should not become only for the rich.
@beety00907@Kyrrdis we cant make every single person not buy it, but we shouldnt normalize it and praise it. imo we should normalize it being wrong and calling it out. just like we cant prevent people from idk being mean but as a sociaty we mark it as wrong - public opinion has power and impact.
@Kyrrdis@beety00907 I adore ga standing too i always choose that over anything, but paris was the last eu stop and people were hungry for floor tickets after seeing the insane energy + wanted to send them off after seeing them once.. so some floor tickets were still being sold for 1k euros
@Kyrrdis@beety00907 i 100% agree with you.. but that doesnt mean i cant express my disappointment when i see the tl normalizing it and even praising it
@moonchild_06_13 exactly! and theres a huge difference between buying overpriced fv and overpriced resale. with overpriced fv the company is to blame, with overpriced resale the consumers are. even if the former is also disappointing, i probably wouldve still got the ticket (up to a limit tho)
@beety00907@Kyrrdis youre basically saying "just leave these for the rich and stfu" and its kinda sad. I wholeheartedly do not believe 1st-2nd rows should become a rich-only luxury. we all say how much we hate scalpers but if we keep buying from them theyll keep winning tickets over actual armys
@beety00907@Kyrrdis I got a floor ticket for paris d1 at face value. maybe a 1st row wont get down to fv, but it shouldnt be bought for 3k. I am living in the real world, im just not egocentric & care about the communities im a part of, i wont ever contribute to making something accessible a luxury.
A sold-out tour everyone who attended called one of the best they’ve ever experienced
A tour people are still talking about and missing
A tour its director said changed the stereotypes of concerts and made him fall even deeper for Jin’s charm
Those who attended were the luckiest
@Kyrrdis may i just add that i DID buy my second ticket from a reseller. but for face value. i think buying a 3k resell ticket just because you can is selfish, we will never get out of this loop. if scalpers couldnt sell it for 3k, the prices will go down to face value, as they should
@Kyrrdis yes i am financially responsible because i wasnt born with money and dont take it for granted like rich ppl. but i did put away much more money than i ended up spending for bts' tour, i had a dedicated saving. and i still refuse to buy from resellers and enable these prices
i love that seokjin started doing this for his into the sun part and hope he continues doing it cos it feels so pleasant to listen his voice pulling notes like this 🥀
also like being a rich trust fund baby and saying "if you have no money it sounds like a you problem 😘" is bigotrd and classist and just disgusting this is exactly why we say eat the rich
🐹 “Even when I was in the military, I wanted to sing and dance so badly. That was all I could think about, and I think that’s why I’ve basically been working nonstop since I was discharged without even taking a break.”
💬 “Oh! I see!!”
🐹 “I’m an idol ><”
People can spend their own money however they want.
But contributing to the resale/inflation problem + using avenues most people don't have + telling people lack of $ is a "you problem" is honestly a disgusting way to live life.
black swan is still my favorite choreo for jin ever and i think he absolutely stuns in this sort of contemporary style. i’d love to see him experiment with something like this again.
