If that's the case, why publish it in the first place for other people to see? Everyone has a right to express their opinion on an art piece. It sounds pretty self-defeating by publishing it
i feel like the purpose of fanfiction is lost when people start considering it’s something that should be appealing to an audience rather than something that only need to appeal to one specific person (the writer).
TV Discourse on Twitter:
Why is the drama dramatic?
Why is the antagonist antagonizing?
Why is the flawed protagonist flawed?
Why isn’t the subplot the main plot?
i love chainsaw man. i love how it makes you think. i love how it drives discussion. i love how it’s messy and complicated and experimental. i love how sometimes bad things just happen and there’s no deeper hidden moral or positive. i love how there is no other work quite like it
Chainsaw Man quite literally stopped me from dropping out of college. Chainsaw Man refueled my passion for art after hitting a rut in my life. Chainsaw Man led me to meeting the love of my life.
I wouldn’t be here in my current state without csm.
Thank you, Tatsuki Fujimoto.
its rly funny and revealing when ppl post like "tips and advice for writers!!!!!"
and then the advice is about like, magic systems, medieval hairstyles, how suits of armor function, etc
And not like. Narrative, structure, dialog, character, etc. Lmao

“themes and such” being like an insult is weird to me because… i feel like. delivering your themes and message properly in a story is more important than like. having a perfectly consistent world forever. a story is meant to make you feel something, not just be wiki fodder
