@Memz3D The average I usually pay for character models seems to float around about $30, but I have one occasion paid up to $50 for some really nice ones (non-sale price of most Ryan Reos and R2Studioo models)
@Memz3D Hmmm, looking at my CGTrader purchase history for reference:of the nearly 300 models that I've purchased in the last 7 years, I've only paid more than $100 for a single model on 3 occasions, each being fully featured scene/environment assets.
Hey friends
IRL life and work got ahead of me for a while, but things have settled down and I'm getting back into the groove of making content again. Also, I just want to say hi to everyone who's a new follower
I've got some good stuff in the works, so please look forward to it
@PeachSaliva I like organic webshooting as a concept because empty web cartridges was a constant nuisance to Spidy; whereas, self-uncertainty and internal strife causing Peter to loose his powers was a major character mechanic.
Spider-Man needs Peter just as much as Peter needs Spider-Man.
@antsstyle@MegZavala I'm a mechanical engineer by education and laser applications engineer by trade; 3D art is one of my creative hobbies/past-times
It's always disappointed me that STEM specialists are so often presumed to be emotionless robots who can't pick out a colour from a box of crayons
@selenegray_ @elliehatescops @Dishwasher1910 Not ignoring, presenting a non-problematic use case (which already exists from companies like NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel).
In 3D-CG, the AI generated frames are using data from frames that you've already rendered with your own computational resources.

@elliehatescops @Dishwasher1910 As someone on the 3DCG side, AI can be a pretty great tool for things like simulations and super sampling, which usually results in cutting down on sim calculations and render times.
@Sleeptalker3D @Smutbase1@Memz3D From the way an earlier post reads, Patreon is making a big stink about things on SmutBase/SFMLabs/Open3DLab and removing content on the bye-bye list is what the Smutbase team has to do to stay on Patreon.
