Which is why 3 of the 5 most common Palestinian last names literally mean “Egyptian”, “Bosnian” and “foreigner/stranger” (I kid you not).

While it is true that some Palestinians have some ancient roots, the vast majority of those roots stem from the Arab expansion which started over 600 years AFTER “god” destroyed the Jewish temple.

But even that represents a small portion of Palestinians. The vast majority, like it or not, are there because their ancestors came to the region from places like Egypt, Bosnia and other Muslim-majority countries, attracted by the economic opportunity generated by the arrival of Jews from Europe. This is extremely inconvenient, but that doesn’t make it less true.

The total Arab population in the year 1800 was 246k. It had steadily increased from 145k in the 1500s. That’s not even 2x in 300 years. But between 1800 (which is when the first European Jews started buying land in Palestine) and 1947, the Arab population would 5x to 1.1 million. The average Palestinian family size did not suddenly explode. Which means that this huge spike in population growth is overwhelmingly due to mass immigration from surrounding Arab countries.

Please note that this is NOT an argument for denying today’s Palestinians a dignified life and an independent country of their own. It is, however, a valid rebuttal to the reverse argument applied by yourself above, which is not just irrelevant, but also factually incorrect.
