Hey, long time no post! Took a break, and today I kicked things off again with a visit to Canary Wharf alongside the Wellbeing Ambassadors: toured the 30th floor, heard about CW’s #NetZeroBy2040 pledge, then brainstormed youth engagement ideas & pitched them. Pizza refuel too!
On 10th Feb, I had an incredible visit to Mace with my friend Nadimul for National Apprenticeship Week! Learned about exciting projects, career opportunities & the role of apprenticeships in the built environment. Huge thanks to the Mace team for the warm welcome & insights!
On Monday, a group of Year 12s attended @macegroup to explore careers in construction. What a great way to kickstart National Apprenticeship Week! Students learnt about the range of apprenticeships available and the varied roles that a career in the built environment can offer.
Wrapped up my final in-person session with Future Leaders!
We explored strategies to combat extremism. A truly insightful experience that highlighted the power of teamwork in tackling real-world issues.
Huge thanks to @Future_LeadersP for this session—excited for the next steps!
Yesterday, I volunteered at my school's Year 11 Open Evening as a Sixth Form Ambassador in @MorpethSch. From putting up subject signs to distributing report letters, guiding parents, and managing queues— it was intense but so rewarding. Great teamwork and organisation practice!
@Future_LeadersP Thank you so much for featuring my video! I’m truly honored to be part of this important conversation about challenging extremism and creating positive change. Grateful for the impactful work Future Leaders is doing!
In our session on extremism, students explored real-life cases of UK under-18s arrested for terrorism-related offences. They discussed how communities can protect vulnerable people, challenge hate, and create positive change. @moonmiazi#challengeextremism#sharedendeavourfund
Had an incredible @Future_LeadersP session today—watched a thought-provoking video on university vs. apprenticeships.
Sarah’s path to Cambridge & Jainna’s apprenticeship-to-project-manager journey taught me this: it’s not about grades; it’s about finding YOUR path!
I’ve just completed the @Shell Green Energy Programme with Future Leaders UK.
This journey taught me about achieving net zero, sustainable energy transitions, and global cooperation for a greener future.
Grateful for the opportunity to grow as a future leader in green energy!
Throwback to my @WappingHigh days when I was recognised for maintaining over 95% attendance! Grateful for the support and the lessons on consistency and dedication that continue to inspire me today.
In 2023, I was honoured to have received a Certificate of Peer-Coaching!
As a peer coach, I supported younger students, helping them solve problems and broaden their perspectives.
Having faced my own struggles moving to the UK, I wanted to be the person I wish I had back then.
My first ever post here in X! And I would like to start my journey by posting content related to me, my life and career. Looking forward to seeing where it leads me! 🤩
