Valarr may not have been particularly skilled knights, but in my head canon, he was incredibly dedicated to the position he held, or at least to avoid bringing shame to his father.

ππββΛ daughter of AERYS II TARGARYEN and his sister-wife RHAELLA TARGARYEN , AEREA was a daughter cursed by the people β s hatred for the DRAGON . as well as the dangers lurking within its nest . . .

at the same time, the curse would be lowkey fulfilled if you think about it bc solons would be "gone", just not how the spellcaster intended π€

hear me out bc i need input regarding my not-so-little idea for asoiaf oc:
since i want solons to be lowkey eerie, this got me thinking what if i made them unable have their "own" faces? instead, they'd bear uncanny resemblance to other deceased dragonlords. (1/?)
i thought about making them cursed and destined to die out, except the spell put on them backfired (or was partially lifted or sth) and instead of leading to their doom, it "only" stripped them off their identities in the end. face = identity in this case (2/?)
