Michael is one of the most-awarded artists in music history! In 1992, Michael founded the Heal the World Foundation. He has donated an estimated $500 million to charity over the years, though the exact amount is much higher due to his anonymous contributions. Specific donations include $3-5 million from his 1984 Victory Tour, $1.5 million from a Pepsi settlement to establish the Michael Jackson Burn Center, $1.5 million to the United Negro College Fund for a scholarship fund, and millions through his Heal the World Foundation, which supported initiatives like airlifting supplies to Sarajevo. He also supported 39 charitable organizations, earning a Guinness World Record in 2000 for the most charities supported by a pop star in music history!
