WTF: A woman in court testifying to overturn a Texas law that forced her to give birth to a fetus with no chance of living got so upset she just THREW UP.

THANK YOU Samantha Casiano, for sharing your pain, to help so many others.

But what the Texas AG said in court was insane:

First, they said you and the other 12 women sharing your dangerous experiences of Texas' anti-abortion law are only doing so because you are on an "ideological crusade".

Next, the Texas AG team ADMITTED you were harmed but said it's "in the past".

THEN, when one woman testified about being denied an abortion for her nonviable pregnancy, they had the balls to OBJECT and say her testimony was IRRELEVANT.

I'm so furious right now. My home state of Texas is f**king nightmare.

Join me in thanking these brave 13 women and Center for Reproductive Rights for forcing Greg Abbott's Texas to hear these stories in court.

BREAKING: Bombshell new study confirms that children living in poverty tend to have healthier brains and suffer from fewer mental health problems when they live in states with more robust welfare systems that offer things like Earned Income Tax Credit and Medicaid.

The study from the National Institutes of Health indicates that better funding for policies aimed at lessening poverty results in massive benefits for society as a whole.

Children living in poverty without access to decent welfare programs can end up with a smaller hippocampus, which in turn affects memory and learning, which can then hobble their ability to move up in the world — ensuring that their offspring are more likely to be born into poverty — as vicious a cycle as one can imagine.

States with healthier welfare programs saw a 34% narrower disparity in hippocampus development between the poor and non-poor and a 48% narrower divide in mental health.

The Republican refusal to fund welfare programs is a form of warfare on this nation's most vulnerable children. This is a clear cut struggle between good and evil.

This is a great breakdown of what's in OGL 1.1 and why it's bad for everyone. The argument over 1.0a's authorization or revokability may need to be settled in court, but that's a long and expensive risk. The answer is simple, @Wizards_DnD: do nothing with the OGL.
