It just had a pretty insane run on Solana, going from a fresh Pumpfun launch to $10M+ MC within a few hours

The chart has already moved a lot, so instead of FOMO, I wanted to understand one thing :

Why did solana:FZqdw6oSDCbHtKYxmhnfbi97SnyVy8jaYpdCoMrrjKa2 run this hard, and does the narrative still have room to grow?

1. It started with Marcello

On August 25, artist Marcello (@Marcello_695) posted a new character :

“His nickname on the street is Pistacio”

The community quickly tokenized it on Solana

What makes this interesting is that Marcello isn’t some random artist. He’s already well known within CT meme culture and associated with characters like Wassie and Pepo

So the origin feels pretty organic :

Artist creates character => community likes it => token comes afterward

Not the usual “launch first, manufacture a narrative later”

2. Marcello actually acknowledged the coin

Marcello didn’t launch solana:FZqdw6oSDCbHtKYxmhnfbi97SnyVy8jaYpdCoMrrjKa2, so I wouldn’t call it his official token

But the community directed creator fees to him, and Marcello publicly acknowledged receiving them

With the huge early volume, the fees I’ve tracked on-chain have already reached tens of thousands of dollars.

More importantly, Marcello basically said :

That creates an interesting flywheel :

Volume => creator fees => Marcello => more art/lore => more attention => more volume

There’s obviously no guarantee this continues forever, but at least the artist now has a real incentive to keep building the character

3. This is the real bull case

Let’s be clear :

No roadmap

The market is trading one thing :

But if it becomes a recurring character, the story changes from :

“A coin based on a Marcello drawing”

4. Momentum + distribution are already there

There’s another important detail

Several large KOLs/wallets I’m tracking sized in heavily around an ~$8M average entry

That’s bullish because they actually have skin in the game

But it also creates risk

They have much better entries than anyone buying after this expansion. If momentum weakens and a few large positions start taking profit, it could easily trigger a panic sell

I like the thesis, but I don’t like chasing the current price

6. What I’m watching next

The biggest catalyst is still simple :

Marcello keeps posting Pistacio art

Every new artwork strengthens the idea that Pistacio isn’t just a one-off drawing

After that, I’m watching:

KOL adoption => community memes/PFPs => holder growth => Moonshot distribution => volume

There’s no confirmed major CEX listing, partnership, or roadmap right now

The next leg is still mostly about attention and lore

7. My entry plan

I’m not chasing after this kind of expansion

The area I’d rather watch is :

~$6M–$7M MC.

But $6–7M does NOT mean automatic buy

I’m actually worried about a potential panic sell

If it dumps into that range while sell volume keeps increasing, I’m not catching the knife

What I want to see is :

$6–7M => sell volume dries up => chart starts basing => supply gets absorbed => attention stays alive

And if Marcello is still posting Pistacio content during that reset, even better

Overall, I find solana:FZqdw6oSDCbHtKYxmhnfbi97SnyVy8jaYpdCoMrrjKa2 pretty interesting, not because of utility or technology, but because of how naturally the narrative formed :

Established artist => new character => community tokenizes it => fees flow back to artist => artist acknowledges it => more art => more attention

Add Moonshot distribution and large KOL positions, and it’s easy to understand why it ran so hard

But after this kind of move, I see no reason to FOMO

I like the thesis. I just don’t like the current price

I’ll watch $6–7M + volume + market structure before making a move

No need to catch the bottom. No need to topblast. Wait for the setup
