“Who is better in speech than the one who summons people unto Allah, and performed a good deed and says, ‘Truly I am of the believers.’”
Q41 (Fussilat): Verse 33
O mankind, eat from whatever is on earth [that is] lawful and good and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.
He only orders you to evil and immorality and to say about Allah what you do not know.
Q2 (Al-Baqarah): Verses 168-9
Your Lord creates and chooses whatever He wills—the choice is not theirs. Glorified and Exalted is Allah above what they associate with Him!
Q28 (Al Qasas): Verse 68
They want to extinguish Allah’s light with their mouths, but Allah seeks only to perfect His light, no matter how those who deny the truth may abhor it.
Q9 (At_Tawbah): Verse 32
"Perhaps you hate something and it is good for you; and perhaps you love something and it is bad for you. And Allah knows while you know not".
Q2 (Al-Baqarah): Verse 216
And as for man, when his Lord tries him and [thus] is generous to him and favors him, he says, "My Lord has honored me."
But when He tries him and restricts his provision, he says, "My Lord has humiliated me."
